We were the first to offer course online and this is our first training resort. Because our training is so uncommon and our specialty being families learning complete self-reliance we have been getting significant worldwide TV exposure. We have been featured on Discovery Channel, CNN, 6o min in France and Timeline Films in the UK. We are now working on having our own reality show on a major network.. Our training has the potential to dominate the industry while bringing it into the 21st century...

We also offer courses online. All our courses are for all ages and are very affordable. We offer complete all inclusive packages that will include training.
Our Dining
The Old Lodge at the Lake has a fine dining restaurant and tavern.The ranch’s focal point a renovated 133-year-old barn that houses a tavern w/The Beautiful crystal Tavern mirrors dating from 1836, salvaged from the famous Crystal Palace of London, England and complemented with a fine dining restaurant within its 8,551 square feet of interior space overlooking the vast equestrian meadow. This World Class Resort Ranch has become a favorite of both celebrities and major CEOs, including country music star Alan Jackson, noted journalist Maria Shriver-Schwarzenegger, entertainer Sylvester Stallone’s family and many other distinguished guests.
Our Lodging
The one of kind Dude Resort Ranch is a self-sufficient property featuring 19 unique cabins, a guest reception lodge with a resort style full service all organic spa. We have big and small cabins, luxury or affordable, we will meet all your needs. We can customized any needs or request.
All beds are top of line pillow tops, with down comforters. You will never sleep so good. All cabins have awesome fireplaces and porch swings. We have several hot-tubs and a large pool.We offer complimentary organic shampoos lotions and soaps. All our art is from our local artists from the region.
Our Activities
Guests enjoy horseback trail rides, rafting, amazing hiking, unbelievable alpine fishing and Summer Sightseeing and Fall hunting trips. In addition the resort amenities include a relaxing swimming pool, hot tubs, tennis courts, and of course access to beautiful Vallecito Lake for boating, and waterskiing and other Water Sport activities. The Wits End convention center is a perfect for weddings and corporate events. It is the largest in the 4 county regions with over 7,200 sq.ft + 3,000 sq. ft. mezzanine and has hosted groups like Land Rover, Chrysler, AMEX. Phillip Morris etc. The warm atmosphere that permeates this resort recalls the romance and drama of the Old West.
